- Hey, and welcome to module 2.3, setting up a Greeting Text. And in this video, you're about to discover how to set up a Greeting Text, now, in short, what is a Greeting Text? It's this little snippet of text that you can use to throw some extra emphasis on that Get Started button on the bottom right there. Basically a simple and unique way to welcome people that are not a subscriber yet, to try out your chatbot. Now without further ado, let's get started right away. And just like that we are inside Clepher again, and in this part of the video, I'm going to show you how easy it is to set up a Greeting Text. Now all we need to do first, is navigate to page level, or board level, by clicking on the cog wheel right there and clicking on Dashboard. This redirects us to the bot level, or page level of this page, the Dashboard right here. And all we need to do, from here we simply go to the left, go to the settings tab and click on it, then click on configure. This redirects us to this page right here, which is the Configuration page. And right here on this side of the page we can see the Greeting Text and Local Greetings, which are optional, and this is the part where you actually set up your Greeting Text. Now the Greeting Text is basically a short snippet of text, allowing you to greet your non-subscribers before they are actually engaging with your chatbot. Before they become a subscriber. And all you need to do in order to set up your greeting text is basically clicking on this field right here, and specify your Greeting Text. So, let's go with, hey, and then let's put in a [first Name] tag right there, and let's spice it up with an emoji right there. Welcome to the most awesome chatbot experience. There we go, let's get started, and let's just add some cool emojis right here, and let's go with some of these arrows pointing down, as that is where the get started button will be. Now all there is left is basically saving it, there we go, and making sure we enable the greeting text by toggling this toggle right here. Now let's move on. We have this part called local greetings right here, and this is a pretty nifty feature if you wants to serve a local greeting text, or a different greeting text to people who have set up their own language inside Facebook. So, let's imagine that there is a Spanish user about to engage with your chatbot. And we want to greet this user in the Spanish language. Now, all we need to do is select Spanish right there, so let's go for Espanol, there we go. And then specify our Spanish Greeting Text right here in this field. And once I clicked on save, it actually up the Greeting Text in the Spanish language right here, at the bottom of the Greeting Text section. Now, if I wish to update this greeting text, I can simply meant anything right here in the text right there, and then click on refresh. And then it ultimately gets saved there as well. Then what I can do next is basically preview the chatbot on Messenger, or preview it right here, but let's just use Messenger for now. And as you can see right here, this is where the Greeting Text pops up. Hey Stefan, smiley, welcome to the most awesome chatbot experience, let's get started. And we got the arrows right here to top it off. Now do note that this Greeting Text will show up differently on mobile devices on the Facebook side of things, or on the customer chat, but this is how it actually looks inside Messenger. Now in the next vide I'm going to show you how to create a Welcome Message, and actually mark the message you are going to create as a Welcome Message, making sure that once they click on the get started button right here in the bottom, they actually get to see that Welcome Message. With that said, that concludes the video on how to set up a Greeting Text.
